are pleased to announce the publication of the proceedings for the presentation given by Dr. Gogami on the JLab hypernuclear physics projects at \"The XVIth Quark Confinement and the Hadron Spectrum Conference (QCHSC24),\" held in Cairns, Australia, from August 19-24, 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At Jefferson Lab (JLab) in the USA, several hypernuclear research projects led by our Japanese research group have been approved. These projects aim to tackle a wide range of fundamental physics challenges, including the elucidation of \"Charge Symmetry Breaking (CSB)\" in Lambda-nucleon interactions, the investigation of \"Lambda-nucleon-nucleon three-body forces\" and the \"isospin dependence of hyperon interactions\"\u2014both crucial for understanding the internal structure of neutron stars\u2014and the study of triaxial nuclear deformation using Lambda particles as probes. Achieving these goals requires detection technologies that far exceed conventional spectroscopic performance. We have successfully developed hypernuclear spectroscopy techniques at JLab using the high-resolution magnetic spectrometers HES and HKS. Building on our experience and achievements, we are now constructing a new system that incorporates a novel magnet configuration (a pair of C-type dipoles called PCS). This upgrade aims to realize unprecedented sensitivity and cover a broad range of mass numbers. This comprehensive and large-scale hypernuclear spectroscopy program is scheduled to begin in 2027 at JLab Experimental Hall C.
