【JLab滞在報告】ハイパー核コラボレーション会議への参加と2028年実験に向けた準備 (Visit to Jefferson Lab: Collaboration Meeting and Preparations for 2028 Experiment)
2026年2月5日より、京都大学ストレンジネス核物理研究グループの後神（講師）と石戸（M1）が、米国・ジェファーソン研究所 (JLab) での滞在を開始しました。
今回の滞在では、現地で開催される「JLab ハイパー核コラボレーション会議 2026」に参加するとともに、実験ホールC (Hall C) で予定されている実験に向けた検出器等の準備を進めています。
本実験研究は、日本（京都大学、東京大学、東北大学）や米国（ハンプトン大学、フロリダ国際大学、クリストファーニューポート大学）、イタリア（INFN）などの研究機関が連携する大規模な国際共同研究として進められています。

今回の滞在期間は3月13日までと限られていますが、石戸はJLabの研究者と協力してクライオ冷却系を組み込んだ標的システムの開発に取り組んでいます。また、これと並行してデータ解析ソフトウェアやシミュレーション環境の整備も進め、2028年春の実験開始に向けて準備を加速させていきます。
From February 5, 2026, Dr. Gogami (Lecturer) and Mr. Ishido (M1) from the Kyoto University Strangeness Nuclear Physics Group have started their stay at Thomas Jefferson National Accelerator Facility (JLab) in the USA.
During their stay, they will attend the JLab Hypernuclear Collaboration Meeting 2026 and proceed with preparations for the upcoming experiment in Experimental Hall C. This project is a major international collaboration involving institutions such as Kyoto University, the University of Tokyo, Tohoku University, Hampton University (USA), Florida International University (USA), Christopher Newport University (USA), and INFN (Italy).
Although their stay is limited until March 13, the team is accelerating preparations for the experiment scheduled to begin in Spring 2028. Mr. Ishido is collaborating with JLab researchers to develop a target system incorporating a cryo-cooling system. In parallel, they are also working on the development of data analysis software and simulation environments.
